Dhaka, May 7 (UNB) - Election Commissioner Brig. Gen. (retd) M Sakhawat Hossain Monday said the political parties, for registration with the Election Commission, would have to show that their committee members were elected through democratic process.
Individuals representing political parties must be elected trough democratic process, like it is stated in our Constitution that the elections would be held under the parliamentary system elections within the political parties will have to be held starting from the grassroots level, he told reporters at his office in the afternoon.
