May 6--The chilly weather didn't deter the crowds from downtown's First Saturday Gallery Walk. Even though most visitors weren't exactly sure what the Gallery Walk was, the streets were full of people carrying spring flowers and balloons, taking in the live music and looking at the decorated shops and galleries.
"It brings more people out than (on) just your regular Saturday night -- it's nice to see people everywhere," said Kim Phillips. "It makes you feel like you're part of something bigger." In keeping with Mayfest, this month's First Saturday theme, orange and yellow tulips and balloons lined the sidewalks and garnered store ...
