May 9--Baby boomer Dennis Rorex said it is the responsibility of one generation to push the next generation down the road of success.
Mr. Rorex, 54, was pushed by his family. His grandfather was illiterate and his mother had only an elementary school education, but they expected him to finish college, and he did.
Now, Mr. Rorex is a history teacher at LaFayette Middle School, and he said his favorite moments in teaching are when he has passed his knowledge to a student.
