Q. I'm new to the whole quad thing. I've been racing motocross for the past five years and I'm looking for a quad for hare scrambles. I was looking at the TRX450R, but it doesn't have reverse, and I am not thrilled about the air-cooled 400EX. I've been leaning toward a LT-Z400, too. Is the Z400 going to have enough power or should I go with the Honda 450R? Or should I go against my gut instinct and get the 400EX?

A. All those quads are great, but first decide what class you're going to run and if it has a cc size limit. Displacement will narrow down the quads you want to look at. As far as the reverse, there are a lot of pros ...
