May 10--PANAMA CITY -- Mike Walker admitted he didn't know where to begin when he started to establish an athletic department at Eagle Nest Academy. The new nondenominational, Bible-based church school is located at the Boys & Girls Club on 19th Street and scheduled to open this fall.
After a debate on whether or not to have football in its inaugural year sided with the proponents, Walker started planning for the 2007 season.
