Dhaka, May 10 (UNB) - The Election Commission this time would prepare a new voter list rather than update the existent one and the EC is yet not clear about the methodologies to be used to make it with voters photograph.
It will be a new voter list, acting secretary to the EC M Humayun Kabir told reporters at a press briefing this (Thursday) afternoon when asked if there would be a new voter list or an updated one.
Meanwhile, Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Dr ATM Shamsul Huda Wednesday in an interview to a private TV channel also said this time around there would be a fresh voter list.
