May 10--The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency offered Tour de France winner Floyd Landis a reduced sentence in his drug case if he provided incriminating information against Lance Armstrong, the California cyclist said today.
Landis, who tested positive for artificial testosterone last summer, is a former teammate and friend of the seven-time Tour winner. Armstrong, now retired, has never publicly tested positive but has raised the suspicions of drug testing officials.
Landis, 31, spoke to reporters today as he prepared for his 10-day hearing Monday at Pepperdine University. He faces a two-year suspension and loss of his Tour ...
