The opening of the 20,000 [m.sup.2] plant at the Kempten Buehl-Ost industrial estate is a clear signal of CFS's intention to expand, while committing to the local area. The capacity limit of the previous location in Roemerstrasse was reached after steady growth in the past years. However, instead of moving away like other companies, CFS decided to make extensive investments. The Buehl plant was taken over by CFS in October 2006 and the relocation of all employees to the new address was finalised within four weeks.
