May 9--Michael Green was honored Monday for his role in creating jobs and improving Fayetteville.
Green, 56, is president of Cohen & Green Salvage Co., a business started more than 60years ago by his father, John Green, and partner, Harold Cohen.
Green received the Al Prewitt Economic Visionary Award given by the Cumberland County Business Council during Industry Appreciation Month.
About 100 people from the business community attended Monday's luncheon at Highland Country Club.
