May 11--Five-year-old Tyler Byrd has a plan.
By the time he's all grown up, Tyler wants to be a dairy farmer and sell goat milk for as much as $50 per hundredweight.
His parents, Larry and Virginia Byrd, chuckle at the price. But Tyler's job prospects may not be as far-fetched an idea as some think.
Goat farmers across southern and eastern Oklahoma are expanding their herds to provide milk for the recently opened Haystack Mountain Goat Cheese factory at Pontotoc Technology Center in Ada.
