Yogyakarta, May 11 (ANTARA): Chief Executive Officer of Singapore's National Arts Council, Lee Suan Hiang, is interested in studying notes of 'gamelan' (Javanese traditional orchestra). "We want to bring the gamelan notes to Singapore to be used by our artists," Lee said when attending a gamelan show at the Indonesian Arts Institute in Yogyakarta on Friday.He suggested that the gamelan notes be collected in a book so that people from other countries could also study them.
