Article: Bay Area Council Finds Continuing Strong Hiring Trend in Region, But Notes Softening Business Confidence in Alameda County.

SAN FRANCISCO -- Today the Bay Area Council announced it has found that local employers plan to continue hiring Bay Area workers at a very high pace. Forty-one percent of the 510 CEOs and top executives in the nine Bay Area counties surveyed April 11-27, 2007 for the Bay Area Council Business Confidence Survey will increase their workforce in the next six months, only eight percent will decrease, and 49 percent will keep their workforce stable. That is the equivalent of seven companies hiring for every one planning reductions.
