May 11--PARKER -- Hickory Lanes bowling alley in Parker is on the verge of losing its occupational license over repeated noise and public disturbance complaints, but the out-of-town owner hurriedly has tried to improve the situation.
The Parker City Council was scheduled to discuss revoking the bowling alley's license at its May 1 meeting, but Mayor Brenda Hendricks requested it be tabled to allow the owner's attorney more time to come up with a settlement.
If Hickory Lanes is shut down, Bay County would have only two other places to bowl, Bowlarama Lanes on U.S. 98 in Panama City and Rock'It Lanes on Beckrich Road in Panama ...
