Watertown coasts to second straight ESD boys' tennis title.

May 12--Watertown advanced players to the championship matches in all nine flights to secure back-to-back conference titles in boys' tennis.

The Arrows captured five flight championships and scored 376 points to win the Eastern South Dakota Conference title on Friday in Aberdeen. Brookings finished second with 259 points and the home team, Aberdeen Central, was third at 134.

The meet was played with temperatures in the low 70s with a slight breeze.

Watertown ended up winning singles titles at flights three, four and six, and a pair of doubles crowns, in flights two and three.
