Stainless steel already is a mainstay in automotive exhaust systems, jet airliner parts, and equipment used by the various process industries. Now it's making its way into household chimney liners, storm windows, and a host of other durable products sold to consumers. And there isn't any slowdown in use by new industrial and commercial products switching of the longer-lasting stainless steels.
