Chita Rivera has been going on a tour through her life.
Actually, she's been performing and touring in "Chita Rivera: The Dancer's Life" since 2005.
There was a pre-Broadway tryout, an acclaimed Broadway run, and now a national tour of her self-titled show. Last week she was on the telephone in her hotel room in Boston, home of such theaters as the Wang, Shubert and Colonial, reflecting on the fact that through her life she's "probably worked in all these theaters. Boston was the place for tryouts." She's come across posters she signed during previous visits with famed productions such as "West Side Story," "Bye Bye ...
