May 13--STOCKTON -- One collage had Mickey Mouse peering down at Joseph Stalin.

Story boards. Magazine photos. MySpace pages. Doodles. Imagination. All were used as inspiration for pastel displays of student and professional artists who braved the sun's reflections on gray concrete, colorfully dirty clothes and the potential for skinned knees Saturday during the 14th annual Italian Street Painting Festival at Dean De Carli Waterfront Square in downtown Stockton. The fundraiser benefits art programs at Lincoln High School.
