For the first time since 1969, guitar god Tony Iommi is performing concerts with a band other than Black Sabbath.
Sort of.
Iommi is the axman for Heaven and Hell, which is the new name of the old Sabbath lineup that includes singer Ronnie James Dio. Dio first teamed with Iommi and bassist Geezer Butler, another member of Heaven and Hell, back in 1980 after Black Sabbath booted singer Ozzy Osbourne the previous year.
