Judge Denies Asics' Motion for Preliminary Injunction Against Skechers USA
Skechers USA and Asics America continue to trade shots in the ongoing trademark litigation between the two companies.
On April 26, federal judge Andrew Guilford, in the Central District of California where the case was filed, issued an order denying Asics' motion for a preliminary injunction against Skechers. According to court documents, the judge stressed that to issue a preliminary injunction, there must be either "a fair chance of success on the merits ... and some threat of an immediate irreparable injury."
