In mid-October, the Wild Goose Brewery will celebrate its fifth anniversary with a limited-production Wild Goose Anniversary Ale. The Cambridge, MD-based microbrewery will launch the draught-only ale beginning October 10.
According to the brewery, the Anniversary Ale will be "a rich, robust English old ale style of seven percent alcohol, brewed with a grist of malted wheat, pale, crystal, chocolate and black patent malts. The bittering and finishing hops will be a blend of Cascade, Willamette and Tettnang."
The beer will have an original gravity of 1070, Wild Goose said, and will be "strong and malty, with a gently hop finish."
