TOKYO, May 15 Asia Pulse - Home improvement store operator DCM Japan Holdings Co. (TSE:3050) on Monday announced the resignation the same day of President Katsutoshi Maeda, 62, to take responsibility for his involvement in alleged insider trading.

Before plans for the three-way merger that created DCM Japan Holdings were announced in July 2005, then-Homac Corp. President Maeda is said to have leaked them to the president of a construction design company whom he had known for 20 years.
