Knowing that most unspoiled and interesting motorcycle roads are likely to be in remote locations brings with it the need to develop options (logistical and financial) for obtaining medical attention, should an emergency occur. In the USA, you might assume that after an accident you will be transported to a hospital, present your insurance card, and get patched up and sent quickly on your way. Afterward, there's a humble return to Kneedraggers Curve where the damaged bike is loaded in a friend's pickup, ready to live and ride another day. Hopefully it will be so simple (we are assuming someone in the party has a cell phone and is able to summon emergency help).
