NEW YORK -- An executive steering committee, made up of top ad agency and cable network officials, is scheduled to hold its first meeting here this week on implementing just-released guidelines for electronic data interchange, EDI.
"This is a way to raise EDI's visibility level, by having higher-level industry people involved," said Larry Goodman, executive vice president of operations and client services for Turner Broadcasting System Inc. and a committee member.
