DENVER -- American Telecasting Inc. has launched its wireless cable service in three new markets, with 692,000 homes within its broadcast footprint, according to company officials.
ATI inaugurated service Sept. 30 in Lansing, Mich., Jacksonville, Fla., and Monterey, Calif., using a strategy of combining each new market with existing operations.
Brian Gast, ATI president and CEO, called the new markets "examples of how American Telecasting can achieve local economies of scale by hubbing contiguous systems."
