May 15--Road work will begin within a week or two to improve a congested, mile-long stretch of Cedar Crest Boulevard at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Salisbury Township, including a major expansion of the Fish Hatchery Road intersection.
The upgrades will make travel through that section of Cedar Crest much easier, predicted project engineer J. Scott Pidcock, who said much of the congestion has nothing to do with the hospital.
"We're introducing 21st-century traffic management technology to this corridor," Pidcock said.
