BELO HORIZONTE, Brazil, May 15 /PRNewswire/ -- COPASA - Companhia de Saneamento de Minas Gerais - (Bovespa: CSMG3), announces today its results for the first quarter of 2007.
Financial and Operating Highlights of 1Q07:
-- Net operating revenues in the 1Q07 totaled R$431 million, versus R$407
million in the 1Q06, an increase of 6.0.
-- Net income totaled R$85 million, versus R$77 million in the 1Q06,
growth of 9.9. When compared to the previous quarter, net income moved
up by 51.9.
-- 1Q07 EBITDA amounted to R$174 million, 10.2 and 17.5 up, respectively,
on the 1Q06 and 4Q06. The EBITDA margin stood at 39.3.
