KARACHI, May 14 (PPI): The Chairman, Alliance of Market Associations, Karachi, Atique Mir Monday termed the sorrowful incidents of May 12 an unprecedented and irreparable loss to city, as traders community suffered losses of Rs5 billion in three days. In a statement here, he said Saturdays violent incidents had pushed metropolis ten years back in terms of trade and 20 years back in respect of law and order situation.Mir said prevailing unrest had confined traders at their homes, leaving the shops, factories and offices shut, while labour class and daily wage workers were starving owning to suspension of trade, business activities.He demanded of government to ...
