SEOUL, May 16 Asia Pulse - Commodity prices in South Korea gained for the third straight month in April from the previous month as the costs of crude and other raw materials jumped, the central bank said Wednesday.

According to the Bank of Korea, the price index for raw materials and intermediate goods rose 2.0 per cent from a month earlier and 3.9 per cent from the previous year to 124.3 last month.

After posting a 1.2 per cent fall in January, the index gained 1.0 per cent in February and 2.1 per cent in March month-on-month.
