CEBU CITY -- The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has not ruled out the possibility of terrorism in the engine room explosion that killed three crew members and injured 11 others on an inter-island vessel that was on its way to Ozamiz City from Cebu last Tuesday night.
PCG Central Eastern Visayas Commander Commodore Alejandro Flora said elements of the Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) and the Explosives Ordnance Division (EOD) of the Philippine National Police are verifying whether or not the blast that rocked M/V Butuan Bay was caused by explosive materials.
