May 16--Sally Shy is one of the city's most unabashed party girls. She's been whipping up big-time parties since Peter Duchin and 1,800 others dropped in for her coming-out party a couple decades back on Lookout Mountain.
Sally Shy Event Design is now in the same tent with Mahaffey Tent & Party Rentals. Perhaps nothing highlights the contrast better than the piles of colorful tablecloths and napkins stacked with tent sidings and steel in Mahaffey's warehouse.
