Pork on Philly Rooftops
The latest Audit Bureau of Circulations numbers are out, and pigs are flying-literally. The Philadelphia Inquirer, Sunday Inquirer and Philadelphia Daily News have increased their collective circ by 63,000 readers. To celebrate, Gyro Worldwide, a Philly ad agency, has pigs flying on the Inquirer building. In a press release, Brian P. Tierney, CEO-Philadelphia Media Holdings and publisher of the Inquirer and Daily News, said: "Some said that pigs would fly or hell would freeze over before we could increase newspaper circulation and readership. I am proud to have proven them wrong.''
