EVERYONE hates bullying bureaucracy and officialdom. So we may have a sneaking sympathy for Jose Mourinho, who was arrested after police officers tried to take away his Yorkshire terrier because they suspected it had not been vaccinated against rabies.
Every pet owner also loves their own dog, and so the prospect of the Portuguese football manager's beloved Yorkie spending at least six months in quarantine must have struck a painful chord with many of us.
As it happens, I have a very welltravelled Yorkshire terrier who goes back and forth between England and France through the Channel Tunnel.
