CHICAGO, May 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Northern Trust announced today that its Transition Management team has received 27 "Best in Class" honors in PLANSPONSOR magazine's annual transition management industry survey. Based on responses from 612 institutional clients undergoing portfolio transitions in 2006, the survey honored Northern Trust in the pre-trade, execution, post-trade, and organization and support categories, including nine awards in the U.S. large transition segment, for assets transitioned in excess of $500 million.
