The United States National Air Traffic Controllers Association has warned of possible safety risks with low staff levels at the Anchorage Terminal Radar Approach Control (TRACON) facility.
According to NATCA the Federal Aviation Administration's controller staffing at the Anchorage TRACON facility has reached its lowest level in a decade, with the facility currently staffed by 16 fully certified controllers and 10 trainees.
