DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, May 17, 2007 (IPS/GIN) -- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called for an end to U.S. involvement in the Middle East during a recent visit to the United Arab Emirates.
The visit was billed as a meeting to intensify cooperation in the trade and energy sectors between the two neighboring countries, which historically have been suspicious of each other. But it also had to do with forming a regional policy regarding the United States.
