Development project seeks to restore golden age of Salt.

May 18--SALT -- Excavations to unearth Roman ruins in Salt will begin in the next few months as part of a large-scale development project designed to restore the city's golden age.

The Department of Antiquities found remains of ancient ruins at a 700-square- metre site two years ago, but digging was halted because three government office buildings were in the way and further excavation would damage their foundations.
