Memo to Cavaliers coach Mike Brown: Your team has to average close to 90 points if it hopes to beat the Detroit Pistons in the Eastern Conference finals. Yes, the Cavs are about defense. Yes, it has served them well. Yes, rebounding is a very big deal. But at some point, you have to put the ball through the rim.
In the seven-game playoff series against the Pistons last season, the Cavs averaged 80 points. In four regular-season games, it was 83 points. In this Eastern Conference finals, it's safe to say that the first team to 90 points is almost guaranteed to win _ assuming anyone can get there.
