Former Sony Pictures topper Alan Levine and former Sony coprexy Ken Lemberger are heading up newly formed standalone unit JPMorgan Entertainment Advisors.
Venture will provide a broad range of strategic and financial advice, including how to tap into the private equity bonanza gripping Hollywood.
Levine and Lemberger, however, see their role as much more than simply raising money for producers and other interests.
