Steve Black is many things to many men ( a Pied Piper of a character who gathers around him sporting disciples of varied backgrounds.

Significantly he worked on the coaching staff of Newcastle United's most successful modern-day manager Kevin Keegan and with Sunderland's top boss of recent times Peter Reid, who manufactured two promotions and two seventh- top finishes in the Premiership.

Black is currently conditioning coach and guru to Newcastle Falcons having also successfully served with Wales and the British Lions.
