FOSTER CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 31, 1995--Gilead Sciences, Inc. (NASDAQ: GILD) announced Tuesday highly statistically significant efficacy data from a 48-patient Phase II/III pivotal study of VISTIDE (cidofovir) in AIDS patients with CMV retinitis.
These data will be presented at the Second National Conference on Human Retroviruses and Related Infections in Washington, D.C. by Howard S. Jaffe, M.D., vice president of clinical affairs for Gilead Sciences, Inc.
