MILWAUKEE -- Tony Gwynn Jr. didn't need a clock growing up during the summer to know when it was 1 p.m.
That was always the time his dad headed to the ballpark.
"He wasn't much for words, but he led by example," the younger Gwynn said. "I remember this like it's embedded in my head, every day, 1 o'clock, 1:30 (in the afternoon), he was either at the field or on his way to the field.
