May 22--OCEANSIDE -- Oceanside Unified School District administrators are planning to eliminate nearly a dozen jobs in July, but most of those employees will be moved into other positions in the district, administrators said Monday.

School district trustees will decide whether to approve the job cuts when the board meets at 6:30 p.m. today at district headquarters, 2111 Mission Ave.

Associate Superintendent Jose Banda said 11 positions will be eliminated, either because of a lack of federal funding or because the district no longer has a need for those jobs.
