May 22--MESILLA -- Construction of a permanent home for the J. Paul Taylor Visitors Center in Mesilla is expected to begin within a month.
The Mesilla board of trustees has awarded a $1.03 million contract to Classic Industries, of Dona Ana, to build a new visitors center, which will be constructed with adobe. The addition will be added to the south end of Mesilla Town Hall.
