WALNUT, Cal.--CTX International, a supplier of computer monitors in North America, has acquired a majority interest in Veridata, a Taiwanese manufacturer of portable computers.
The deal ostensibly allows CTX to enter the U.S. market for notebook and subnotebook computers.
