In the days immediately following the massive April 25, 2004, March for Women's Lives, numerous white progressives commented on what they hoped was a changed movement. "It was great," my friend Joy told me. "Finally, tens of thousands of people--all colors, all ages and from all over the country--screaming that reproductive justice means more than access to abortion.
