Synopsis: A bare majority of the public approves of the job the Supreme Court is doing, and compared with last fall, the court's approval ratings are down among Democrats, independents, and Republicans alike. Consistent with the court's recent ruling, most Americans support a ban on partial-birth abortions. However, most Americans do not want to see the Supreme Court "overturn" the Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion.
