RICARDO Claro, one of the key figures propelling Chilean wine into a top five position in world markets and 21pc of the Irish wine market, visited Dublin recently.
By operating a glass manufacturing and shipping operation, he has also been able to secure a keenly competitive position for Chilean wines in European markets.
His Claro Group, which is worth more than EU148m, includes one of the top 10 global shipping operations, a glass bottle manufacturing firm, as well as the famous Santa Rita vineyards in its conglomerate.
