UNITED AIRLINES FILES FOR LOS ANGELES-GUADALAJARA AUTHORITY

CHICAGO, Jan. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- United Airlines announced today that it has filed with the U.S. Department of Transportation for authority to fly twice-daily, non-stop service between Los Angeles and Guadalajara.

"United Airlines' presence on this route will offer air travelers in Southern California and the West Coast a convenient gateway to a key Mexican business center," said United Airlines Senior Vice President-Planning Rono Dutta. "At the same time, this opens up Guadalajara to flights through Los Angeles to Asia, Europe and across the United States."
