Pico Execs Saw Nice Pay Surge In 2005: The new proxy reports required by securities regulators are generating interesting reading, at least for concerned shareholders.

Pico Holdings, a local firm with limited name recognition because its operations are outside the county, recently filed its proxy showing it paid its top two executives, Chairman Ron Langley and President and CEO John Hart a combined $33.4 million in salary, bonuses, and other compensation for 2005.
