On April 15, 1452, was born in a stone house in the town of Vinci in the Tuscan Hills, the most complex genius of the Renaissance and perhaps of all time: His name - Leonardo. This one man has influenced the lives of all artists. One of Leonardo's greatest paintings is of course the great "Mona Lisa."
It is dated 1503. She is now almost 500 years old and yet today she is still more often copied than any other work of art. To see her hanging in Paris at the Louvre she is quite insignificant.
